The 6th U.S. High School Football Player to Die This Season

Cam'ron Matthews was a high school football player from Texas. He played for the Alto Yellowjackets'. Before his death, he was in a huddle and told his teammates he felt dizzy, but no one thought anything of it. A few minutes later he collapsed, and was immediately reported by a helicopter to a Tyler hospital. Multiple media outlets, including CNN, reported Cam'ron has a seizure on the field. People talked very highly of Cam'ron, claiming he was not only a good athlete but a great student and kid. The community gathered around the field and shared stories about cam'ron, and mourned and prayed for his family and friends. This is heartbreaking.
